Mining Economic Forum 2019
On June 6-7, 2019, another edition of the Mining Economic Forum at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow took place. Once again we are pleased to inform you that BFirst.Tech was the official partner of the conference (previously we were in this role at MEF in November 2018). A report describing this event is on the website of the Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering on the website of the Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering. In this post we present a photo gallery that we prepared from the conference.
This is how the Aula presented itself in the AH AGH building where the conference was held. In the foreground, we see conference participants, and in the background Arkadiusz Kustra, who speaks at the opening of the event.

On the second day, the conference moved to the A1 building to the Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering. Discussion panels on that day were held there.

Below in the picture are Paulina Gackowiec (left) and Marta Podobińska-Staniec (right). They received a distinction at the conference for delivering a speech entitled “IoT Platforms for the Mining Industry: An overwiew”. It was one of the two distinctions at the conference.
The second awarded paper was presented by Sebastian Napieraj (at the second table from the left). The subject of the paper is “Effective ecological and economical methods of using coal bed methane”.
In the picture below Marek Borowski (second from the right) and Zbigniew Niedbalski (first from the right), deans of the Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering. It is in this department that the conference takes place regularly.
The last photo was taken during the discussion panel “Monitoring and automation of mining processes”. At the microphone there is CEO of BFirst.Tech, Tomasz Wilczyński. In addition the panel was also attended by Jacek Korski (Famur), Piotr Wilk (Astor), Paweł Kawalec (Kawalec Consulting GmbH), Magdalena Kowalczyk (Carboautomatyka) and Łukasz Herezy (LW Bogdanka).
