Poland is committed to generating at least 32% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. To meet this goal, it must replace stable but environmentally damaging coal power with renewable energy sources. Climate change content should be introduced in a comprehensive manner at each stage of education and teachers must be equipped with appropriate knowledge and competencies.
Representatives of youth, parents, teachers and academia alike should be involved in the process of implementing climate education in Polish schools.
In addition to the demands, the report also includes an analysis of the attitudes of political parties toward the climate crisis and climate education, as well as the voices of UN representatives.
